GeneralWorksheetFree Resource

Completing large or complex tasks can feel overwhelming, especially when sustained attention and organization are challenging. Research on executive function supports breaking tasks into small, concrete steps and planning for obstacles in advance. This planner walks you through defining a task, splitting it into manageable parts, scheduling it, and preparing your environment for success.

Choose one task you need to accomplish this week. Write it at the top, then break it into smaller sub-tasks. For each sub-task, estimate the time required and note when and where you will do it. Finally, list potential distractions and your plan to handle them.
