Present-Moment Practice Log for Kids
A guided activity tracker for building mindfulness skills in children
Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to what is happening right now, without judgment. Research shows that children who practice mindfulness regularly demonstrate improved attention, better emotional regulation, and reduced anxiety (Dunning et al., 2022). This log helps children track their mindfulness practice across different activities, building awareness of how present-moment attention affects the way they feel.
Each time you try a mindfulness activity, fill in a row below. Write what you did, how long you practiced, what you noticed with your senses, and how you felt before and after. Try to practice at least once a day!
| Activity (e.g., deep breathing, mindful eating, five senses, body scan) | How Long? | What Did You Notice? | Feeling Before (1–5) | Feeling After (1–5) |
